Here are some ideas:
- Curl up on the couch with a good book and cup of hot cocoa.
- Put together jigsaw puzzles with the kids.
- Commiserate with your neighbors as you're cleaning off sidewalks and driveways.
- Initiate a neighborhood snowball fight or snowman making followed by hot cocoa at your house.
- Plan your spring break activities.
- Have a movie marathon.
- Ski down the middle of your street.
- Cook "stone soup" using whatever you have in your cupboards and 'frig.
- Tell stories about storms of the past
- It's a "free" day, do whatever you want!!
PS: If you do not experience snow days and you are in a warm sunny climate.....never mind.

Don't you just love these cold, windy, snowy days in Wisconsin? Snow blowing and shoveling while your face gets scraped raw by the wind? And your fingers become icicles?
ReplyDeleteIt's my favorite time of year :-)
See, I knew you'd come around! Just finished shoveling myself....it's lovely!
